Well, we ended summer on a high note, with the Hunter's Dream OHJA show on August 28 and 29. We had a blast and all of the girls rode beautifully and showed such kindness towards each other and responsibility with their horses.
School is back and we're still figuring out the autumn lesson schedule. Lots of people want to ride on weekends, so if riding during the week days is good for you, let me know.
We will be holding a horse-lover's weekend camp at AVHF on Saturday and Sunday September 24 - 25. Activities will include lots of riding and equestrian activities, new horsey crafts, autumn wildflower bouquet-making, fishing, and even a campfire with s'mores and other treats. Please let me know asap if you plan to attend. We have two spots open for this great weekend. And don't worry parents - homework time is built in to the schedule!
We will also be attending one show in September and one in October. Details coming soon. I will be out of town September 6 - September 16 but lease rides can be arranged with the barn. Please let me know if you're interested in leasing.
