Congratulations to everyone who showed at Red Tail Ridge today. Morgan, Emily, and Kristi all did fantastic and I am so proud of everyone. I am awaiting pictures. Unfortunately, Secret didn't make it to the show, but Megan and Renie came anyway and were incredibly helpful so thanks to them as well. And of course, my sweet Lindsay who is the best groom in the world made it possible for me to ride today. If it weren't for her help, I never would have even gotten on Jay!
I am so lucky to have such a kind and supportive group of riders and parents and even though today was a little rough at some points, we pulled through and showed really well. 4th to Emily, 4th to Kristen, 5th to Kristi, and 3rd to Morgan. We all need a little more impulsion in our dressage, but hey, who doesn't?
And congratulations to Kristin Hobbie, who rode the MODA show at Delaware this weekend. She went home with two first place ribbons and a third and got a 75% in training level test 1 which is amazing! I got to drop in and coach her a little before that test, and her score reflects her almost perfect ride on her horse Shadeaux.
