Well, Emily came to ride Luke for a lesson today before they took him home and he was TERRIBLE! He bucked! Luke has never bucked and I don't know what go into him, but needless to say, he will be staying with me, maybe for good. Marc said that if Luke doesn't work out for me, then he can become Marc's horse when I am ready for something else. I am sad for Emily and the Chapman family and I felt really bad about his behavior, but I guess some things are just meant to be. I do love that horse.
So, Luke is not sold and is no longer for sale.
Andrea, I think he and I need to start lessons again!
Today was overall great at the barn. Jasper was an angel, we gave X-ray a special day of love and grooming and his leg looks much better and Reuben was a scaredy-cat, but he did pretty well. Alexis had a great ride on Majic and we were happy to welcome Lou, who might be leasing Katie or Irish.
Tomorrow I am hoping that Melody is coming for a trail ride at Alum Creek while the weather is still okay.

Kristen, we all enjoy working with you! We're sad not to enjoy Luke at our farm, but we think he's claimed YOU as his permanent parent. Joe and Emily love their lessons with you, and we all look forward to getting better at riding and managing our horses with your guidance!
